Importantly, the analysis goes beyond simply highlighting these positive outcomes, and delves into the underlying mechanisms and contextual factors that shape the relationship between diversity/inclusion and organisational structure which enhance performance. This paper methodology was a comprehensive literature review and blend of research on the content of workplace diversity and inclusion initiatives. The study employs a rigorous, literature -driven approach, drawing on multiple management and organisational behaviour frameworks to develop a conceptual sculpt that explains how diversity and inclusion practices can translate into competitive advantages. This conceptual framework is then used to systematically evaluate the existing empirical evidence, identifying both the facilitators and barriers to successful diversity and inclusion initiatives within organisations. Based on these insights, the paper offers recommendations for human resource managers and business leaders on implementing effective hiring, training, and organisational design practices to cultivate a diverse, engaged, and high-performing workforce. By prioritizing diversity and inclusion, organisations can create a more vibrant and productive workplace that fully leverages the unique skills and perspectives of all employees.
