The review examined the impact of managing external environment on the organizational culture. The review discussed ideas including organizational culture, the relationship between internal and external cultures, managing the external environment using PESTEL analysis, and pertinent theories. The objectives of the review were to investigate the impact of technological developments on university decision making processes and define the impact of competitive developments on university decision making.
